Meetrix UC in the Cloud provides a foundational security framework. Secure access for desktop or web clients is provided in two ways: Basic Password Authentication and Authentication by Token. Both LPTA (Lightweight Third-Party Authentication) and ST (Secret Token) support Authentication by Token. SSO can be configured by using the Simple and Protected GSS-API Negotiation Mechanism (SPNEGO). FIPS support is provided to meet the US government-defined security requirements for crypto-graphical modules. Meetrix can further extend the security of the solution by providing our optional patented, session-based VPN layer. This allows ultra-private VPN tunnels to be instantly constructed and then immediately torn down once the meeting is completed with the user's credentials removed once the session has been terminated.
Sametime Clients
Meetrix UC in the Cloud can be delivered with desktop, and web/browser-based clients for both IM/chat and web conferencing. This provides flexible options based on user requirements for an expandable client or one with no software download requirement.
